Mindset is everything.  If you will commit to having an overcome and conquer mindset you will accomplish any goal you set.  Overcoming and Conquering isn’t just about the battleground.  It’s not just about Life Ambushes.  It’s an everyday mentality that must be plugged in to your everyday life!

As Americans we need to incorporate this mindset into everything we do.  There is no barrier too difficult to overcome. We will conquer whatever it is…if we apply the right mindset.

It’s time we start thinking about what we do as individuals to make this world a better place.  Prioritizing these three areas of your life will give you the foundation to overcome any obstacle and conquer any type of life ambush!!  When facing a major event in your life, in addition to your mindset, these three F Bombs are the foundation to living an overcoming life.

Everyone wants to be on top of the mountain… The problem we see in our society today is that people want to get dropped off at the top of the mountain and look down. They want to alleviate the climb to the top and discard the struggle and commitment that it takes to get there. 

 However, any successful mountain climber will tell you, it is the journey to the top that matters the most. The challenge, the decisions, the hurdles, the intensity, the commitment.  These all contribute to making   the view from the top one filled with an exhilarating sense of accomplishment and freedom.

Run, Hide or Fight Back?


On 9/11, our entire culture in the United States was changed in a matter of under two hours. You had a plane hit a tower. Then, another plane hit the tower. Then, a plane hit the Pentagon. By the fourth plane, the word was out. And those civilians, regular everyday people, who were unarmed, fought back and defeated those terrorists and drove that plane into the ground.

And every attempt that's been made to get into a cockpit since that day has been defeated by unarmed civilians on these airplanes."

So, we’ve proven time and again that it can be done. Even if you don’t have a gun, you can still FIGHT BACK AND WIN.

F is for Failure

Embrace Failure.  Let your kids learn to fail.  Because out of failure they will learn to overcome.  For every failure I’ve had, I had to dig deep and overcome it.  I had to deal with the pain.  I had to deal with the mistakes I had made.  I had to reevaluate myself and figure out – what caused the failure? Was it me or external causes? Failure makes us come to grips with all of that.
